Join me for a monthly exploration of creative sequencing, transitions, bandhas, and pranayama. The intention of this workshop is to stoke your passion for practice, assist in releasing old belief systems, and awaken your unlimited potential.

A full spectrum practice will be explored, this month's emphasis is on: Inversions, backbends, safe supported drop backs, and liberating the shoulder girdle. Pranayama and mantra are also integral aspects of this workshop. 
Each month has a different asana focus and philosophical teaching based on personal inspiration in practice and what feels most resonant. This workshop has an emphasis on alignment within the context of a flow practice and alignment within transitioning into and out of postures and into subsequent postures.....the intention is to assist you in discovering a moving meditation within the context of classical yogic techniques. 

A transition is the dynamic movement between statically held postures. Learning and refining yoga transitions allows one to invoke a moving meditation by embodying continual flow.

Bandhas are the internal locks that stabilize the physical structure and, on a deeper level, offer an internal focal point to bind ones consciousness to (sense withdrawal). Utilizing the bandhas creates stability, deep core strength, and float in the postures and transitions.
