Ever wonder why you feel so good, often calm and centered after yoga? Part of the reason you feel this way is because of the sequencing of the class.
Sequencing is the art and science of placing yoga poses in a specific order to achieve a desired outcome. Proper sequencing maximizes the benefits of yoga and leaves your mind and body in equilibrium.
In this workshop we will discuss the various sequencing techniques and guidelines so that you can start sequencing your own classes or home practice.
What poses must go before or after another? How do I gradually build up to a pose? What are appropriate transitions between groups of poses? How do I wind down to a restful state? These and much more will be addressed in this workshop.
