A Myofascial Release and Yin Yoga Workshop
An in-depth look at the science behind the role of the fascia and use of myofascial release techniques within the yoga setting. Myofascial compression and yin yoga will be utilized to compress, stretch, and twist the fascia. Releasing fascia can improve mobility, reduce tension and pressure in the musculoskeletal system, decrease pain, and improve circulation. This workshop is designed for teachers or anyone looking to deepen their understanding of this topic. No yoga experience is necessary. Continuing education credit available through Yoga Alliance. Please bring 2 tennis balls.
