Join us in welcoming Desiree & Andrew for an inspiring weekend of learning with your local community. With thirty years each of practice and experience teaching yoga, these two continue to evolve their work incorporating physical therapy, functional movement and strength training in order to keep themselves and others in top shape mentally and physically. The focus for this workshop will be the interweaving of strength with flexibility and the constant adjustment and re-calibration that this requires. Yoga challenges us to know ourselves deeply and this journey, with all of it’s ups and downs is an invitation that is open to anyone.

Desiree's experience in alignment based Hatha Yoga including Iyengar and Anusara continues to evolve by studying with functional manual therapists, meditation teachers, and primal movement teachers. She loves to play hard while working seriously on details, so be prepared to practice being strong while simultaneously laughing. Andrew is a mindfulness coach, working with individuals and corporations to help people become more aware of their behavior and make desired shifts. He brings rich teachings to the physical practice of yoga that will inspire your heart and mind. Together they are a powerful team.

All ages and all levels are welcome to attend these classes. Celebrate your mindful embodiment and keep your energy moving for a lifetime. Visit www.desireerumbaugh.com.

Cost is $45 for a single workshop or $165 for the package of four. Advance registration is required for package pricing. Space is limited. Registration is nonrefundable. Desiree is Anusara-certified and workshop hours count towards certification. Workshop location is now Balancing Monkey Yoga Studio in the Hilo Shopping Center at 1221 Kilauea Avenue, Hilo, Hawaii. Register here
