Expand: Backbends, Inversions and Bandhas Workshop

This workshop will dive into the concept of expansion both physically and energetically through the lens of yoga. We will dive into the realm of safe and empowering backbends, inversions, drop backs and their preparatory postures and drills. Including: core strength drills, shoulder and S.I. joint stabilizing drills, prop usage to assist the body in the more challenging poses, as well as partner work to empower the practice in a supportive way. Pranayama techniques that work with the bandhas (physical/energetic locks) and mantra recitation are also integral aspects of our time together! Intermediate/Advanced Level. Drop-in cost $35.
